Knife Making Classes

Looking for a unique way to spend time with your family, work team, or besties? Perhaps a company event, bachelor or bachelorette party? Book a day with us, and learn how to make a knife. We start by reviewing knife designs, we select materials, then we move right up to proper heat treating and adding the finishing touches to make your own beautiful one of a kind knife. At the end of the day, not only will you leave with a knife, but you’ll have some great memories and a ton of laughs.

Here are some things to know:

The cost per class is $325 plus GST per person for a standard class. You can upgrade to DAMASCUS for an additional fee.
We provide Lunch, Refreshments and Safety Equipment. Please make sure to wear natural fibre clothing, shoes that cover your feet, and full length pants
Classes are one full day starting at 8:30 am.
Our minimum age is 13, and anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Please call 403-598-5256 with questions regarding attendee age.
All attendees for classes MUST be booked into our schedule. If you wish to attend a class with another student, but do not wish to make a knife, you will be charged half price for your spot. We do this because you are taking a knife making class spot, even if you are not making a knife, as we can only have a limited amount of people in class for safety reasons.
We allow 8 people per day to book online. Please scroll down to use the calendar on this page to book your class. Once booked, we will send you an invoice within 24 hours. If you would like to book a class with more than 8 people, please call us to make arrangements.
We do take a $100 per person non-refundable deposit for classes, and the rest can be paid on the day of your class. Due to an increased rate of no-shows, appointments WILL NOT be held without a deposit. If you have to cancel a class, your deposit will either be held for another class, or be issued as a gift certificate to be used for future purchases.
